Cosy Cooking for Autumn Days

My favourite time of the year is the Autumn and September is certainly the herald of that magical time of year. Days may be shorter, but the light is different somehow and joy of going for a late afternoon walk coming home to something warm and comforting in the slow cooker. The blackberries are ripe in the hedgerows and make an awesome crumble with some local Bramleyapples. The freedom of August is caught by the schools and colleges reopening and the rhythm of life returns to normal. I so wish I could catch the essence of this season in a jar that I could open in those dark winter months.

In autumn my mind also turns to baking and making comforting meal. That’s when the oven comes into its own. Cakes and bakes and roast dinners. Stews and dumplings, apple pies and even fresh home-made bread. There’s nothing like it. We may have air fryers for convenience,but nothing can beat cooking in a real oven.

We sell a selection of ovens and hobs and cookers. Our prices included delivery and installation to your existing connections, and recycling of your old one to. New ovens are very economical to run in comparison to older models and have easy cleaning functions that help avoid the build up of soiling. We also repair electric ovens, cookers and hobs. The most common fault being a blown element which is easily remedied. If we come along to repair your oven and its more than you want to spend, or its not repairable, then we offer a reduced estimate charge if you buy a new one through us.

Of course, we also repair or supply washing machines, tumble dryers and dishwashers as well, and we also supply new refrigeration products though we do not repair these.
